8. Once you’re going at a steady pace (1.8 mph or 3 km/h), lean back slightly—this will engage the electric motor and allow the scooter to move without pushing off with your feet.
9. To slow down the scooter, release the throttle button, and use the hand-operated brake to reduce the speed. More you squeeze the brake handle, more powerful the brakes.

How to connect Hover-1 Alpha with Bluetooth?

To pair your Hover-1 Alpha’s bluetooth speaker with your phone (or any other bluetooth device), you’ll need to make sure both devices are on and set up to be compatible with each other, for which you need to follow the steps under:

1. First, make sure the electric scooter is turned on and its speaker is in pairing mode. You will hear a “ping” sound, when turned on, to indicate that the speaker is available for pairing.
2. Ensure that the electric scooter and the phone is within the range (usually 3 feet).

4. You’ll see a list of available devices to pair with—search for “H1-Alpha,” and select it from the list that comes up.
5. Enter the pin “000000” (if required) and confirm the entry.

Fold:

To fold the Hover-1 Alpha, you need to release (pull it downwards) the folding clip and lower the steering column towards the deck.

Unfold:

Hover-1 Alpha Speed Limiter Removal Tips:

1. Remove the battery cover on the bottom of your Hover-1 Alpha.
2. Press down on the spring tab on the battery pack, and slide the battery pack out of its housing.
3. Unscrew the two screws at the back of your Hover-1 Alpha.
4. Pull forward on the black plastic piece that holds down your speed limiter, then slide it out of its housing.
5. Remove any tape or glue that may be holding down your speed limiter.
6. Insert a precision screwdriver into the slot and push the pin in until it pops out, then remove the pin by sliding it out with your thumb or finger.

Note: If not done correctly, removing the speed limiter may damage your electric scooter permanently. Extra speed is harmful and will also drain your battery at a faster rate. Besides, it will void your warranty.
